We have recently launched the Sacred Heart Parish Care Group comprising our Extraordinary Ministers. The group meets every 4 to 6 weeks in the Parish Hall, in order to share relevant information concerning those parishioners residing in the various care homes/hospitals in the area, who currently receive Holy Communion from us. The meeting is an opportunity to keep abreast of their health and welfare. Also it is a chance to find out about others who are sick either at home or in hospital who would like to be visited and to receive the Eucharist.
